The Design Process from first call to launch:

Once you book a discovery call, we’ll dive into a 30-45 minute collaborative conversation where we discuss the goals and vision you have for your site. We’ll also clarify the scope of your project, cover any additional services you may need, and make sure we’re fully aligned on the path forward. From there, you’ll review your project proposal, sign the agreement, and then make your initial payment to secure your spot on my calendar. Once your kick-off date arrives, we’ll jump right into the juicy, creative stuff.

You’ll receive an in-depth questionnaire to fill out during the weeks leading up to your kick-off call, as well as a link to a google drive folder to upload all necessary assets.
This step is crucial for nailing your website’s copy, tailoring it to your business and your voice, understanding your target market, and for integrating the branding you may already have.
This includes answering specific questions about your business, and sharing photos, recorded sales calls, reviews, logos, brand guidelines, service and product descriptions, etc.

Project execution begins! We’ll start with a quick kick-off call to review your questionnaire and asset uploads, and cover any missing pieces.
From there, I’ll walk you through domain purchasing and web hosting.
Then. I’ll take time to conduct market, competitor, and keyword research, review all sales calls or customer reviews, and then deep dive right into the action phase.

This is when strategy comes to fruition. I’ll begin by creating your site map, choosing the basics of your visuals (photos, colors, fonts), then strategize your messaging while designing your website.
This phase also includes the 1-2 opportunities you’ll have (depending on your agreement plan) to review and request revisions as well as SEO execution.
We then end this phase with a final site walk-through and a finished product you LOVE.

Before we launch your site, we’ll get together on call or in person and run through a brief training session where I’ll teach everything you need to know for efficiently running your site. If you’ve integrated a scheduling calendar, forms, or email marketing tools, we’ll navigate and train everything according to your needs, plus, how to review your analytics.

Your site goes live to the world! Woohoo!
Once your site is online and your final payment is made, I’ll transfer the site’s ownership directly to you by adjusting your personal [Squarespace or Showit] account from admin to owner, and adjusting my account from owner to admin. -
For two weeks post-launch, I’ll be checking your website’s performance, looking for potential errors we may have overlooked, and making any minor changes, with of course, full communication. During this time, I’ll also be available for post-launch support as you learn to confidently navigate and manage your new website.

No. Neither the purchase of your domain or the cost of web hosting are included in the Luxe Web Design offer.
Typically, a registered domain costs roughly $20 annually.
The cost of web hosting varies as you have the option to pay annually or monthly. For cost example: a basic Squarespace membership costs roughly $30/month.
Both will need to be purchased in order to launch your website so it’s important to factor in these costs alongside your design investment.
Please note, I’m here to make launching your website as easy as possible. I’ll gladly walk you through these steps or conduct them for you.

Yes. I want this process to feel doable and aligned for you. Most clients choose to pay in 1–3 installments.

Yes, a deposit is required to secure a spot on my calendar.
If you’re paying in full, you can either pay 100% up front, OR 50% for deposit at booking, and the other 50% upon kick-off.
If you’re committing to a payment plan, your first payment is required for deposit, second payment upon kick-off, and third payment upon launch.

Squarespace or Showit.
Squarespace is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly; perfect for small business owners who want a site quickly, that’s incredibly easy to maintain after launch.
Showit requires a slight learning curve for management, however, it’s still pretty user-friendly. If the vision you have for your website is highly animated or customized, we’ll use Showit for design.
